California Policy Partners (CPP) is pleased to announce the appointment of Lance Christensen as its new president.

“I am excited to work with an association that is serious about protecting the family’s business and liberating the California economy,” Christensen said. “To reclaim a glimmer of the Golden State’s reputation for prosperity, freedom and innovation requires that we keep a close eye on who represents us in the State Capitol in Sacramento.”

“I look forward to growing my relationships with business leaders and grassroots activists across the state and building a farm team of local elected officials capable of strong, disciplined campaigns for state offices in the coming elections, ” he said.

Christensen has spent the last 20 years in every major legislative, policy and political fight in Sacramento. Most recently, Christensen was vice president of California Policy Center, an educational nonprofit focused on reducing government barriers to freedom. He was a candidate for State Superintendent of Public Instruction in the November 2022 general election.

“The time for playing on the margins is over,” he said. “The failed strategy of backing people who offer breadcrumb votes while supporting disastrous policies that increase the cost of living are over.

Christensen says CPP will hold legislators accountable for their votes on issues important to families an businesses, including improving public safety beyond the recent Prop. 36 reforms; reducing taxes and regulations that crush economic growth; providing abundant energy and water for reasonable prices while mitigating future wildfires; building housing and infrastructure that is affordable for current residents and future generations; and creating a public education system that is second to none.

CPP will use digital media and independent platforms to amplify its message, engage likeminded groups who are no longer tied to dying legacy media, and hold elected officials accountable for the millions of families and businesses across California who are simply trying to survive.

California Policy Partners (CPP) is a 501(c)(6) nonpartisan, nonprofit business membership organization built to protect the family’s business in Sacramento. It is focused exclusively on California policy and politics. Those who are tired of watching this beloved state self-destruct and who want a state where their families can thrive should join CPP as a member. Membership with CPP will not be disclosed to the public and a portion of any membership dues may be deductible as a business expense.
